The Verdict - Week 10

Sorry about that last post.  Unfortunately it's true!  Saturday was my dad's birthday so we had pizza for dinner.  I decided to get a salad so that I would eat less pizza.  Well I think I ended up eating the same amount of pizza AND a salad, not smart!  After that I had a piece of cheesecake and drank a bottle of water before heading to the gym for my 3rd day of Couch to 5K.  Not smart at all.  I felt so heavy running on the treadmill.  And by heavy I don't mean weight wise (because I already know that, hehe) but I just felt like there was an extra sack of bricks on me.  It was not good.  I know from now on to either eat after the gym or something MUCH lighter before. 

And speaking of Couch to 5K, thank goodness for it this week.  I made it to the gym 3 times and without that I know I would have had a BIG FAT gain this week.  Let's just say although I did lose weight it wasn't a very healthy week of eating for me.  And now moving into the week of thanksgiving I am praying I can control myself.

Here is the verdict, since that is what this post is about, ya know!

Mr. Scale said: 237.6
A loss of .8 lbs.  I guess it's better than a gain, but I know it's not much!

Last night I went to the gym and there were no machines open.  Literally, NONE.  I wanted to use that as an excuse to skip Couch to 5k but instead I ran outside (which let me tell you is much harder on your lungs due to the cold air and your legs due to the hard pavement) but I got through more than half of it before I stopped.  More than half I guess is better than just going home, so I am proud of myself.
